BRIGHTON, Colo. (KDVR) -- A 15-year-old girl was accused of murdering a 44-year-old man in Brighton.According to Brighton police, just after midnight Tuesday, officers went to the 400 block of North 6th Avenue to check the wellbeing of a man that had not been heard from in days. Colorado youth violence at 5-year high plateau Inside, they found 44-year-old Joseph Johnson dead from apparent gunshot wounds. After an investigation, the 15-year-old was identified as a suspect. She was arrested in Castle Rock Tuesday afternoon and booked into the Prairie Vista Youth Services Detention Center on murder and motor vehicle theft charges. Newly released surveillance video shows the son of a South Florida celebrity running from police before his arrest in Miami Beach for allegedly assaulting two women. Luther Roderick Campbell II, the son of famous rap artist Uncle Luke of 2 Live Crew, appeared before Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Mindy S. Glazer, Wednesday. Campbell is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting an officer.According to police, at around 7 p.m. Tuesday, Campbell was armed with a knife and walked up to two women, telling them, “What did you say?”The incident happened on South Beach, near the famous Big Pink restaurant. The women were behind a car and had something blocking them from Campbell. Four businesses were burglarized after crooks broke through drywall to gain access.7News cameras captured how the burglars were able to make their way into the businesses by using the top of a toilet bowl to break through the drywall. “He came right through that window,” a business owner said. A crook first broke into a window of a dog grooming business. Surveillance footage showed the suspect in the back of the plaza. The suspect was seen using a broom to change the angle of the camera. Police have identified a driver who they said was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Lynn that left a 55-year-old woman dead on Wednesday, officials announced. Lynn officers responded to the incident just after 6 a.m. Wednesday on Route 107 northbound between Ida and Cooper Streets.Police said the woman was struck in a crosswalk in the area. Within hours of the crash, officials said detectives using city surveillance cameras had identified the driver and located the damaged car in Boston inside a parking garage in the area where the man behind the wheel worked. A 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Wendy’s in Lynn last month, police announced.The incident happened on Feb. 7 at the Wendy’s location on Boston Street, where police said a 16-year-old was shot while working at the drive-thru. Police last month said someone pulled up to the drive-thru window, exchanged words, fired a weapon and sped away.Just over seven weeks after the shooting, police said the suspect was arrested on Wednesday following a chase in Marlborough. The owner of a local pizza chain is facing additional federal charges of forced labor, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced on Wednesday. Officials said Stavros Papantoniadis, 47, of Westwood allegedly forced employees to work while verbally and physically abusing them and repeatedly threatening them with deportation. Papantoniadis was arrested earlier this month and initially charged with one count of forced labor. The U.S. Attorney’s Office on Wednesday said Papantoniadis had since been indicted on four counts of forced labor and three counts of attempted forced labor.Papantoniadis previously appeared in court on March 20.
